The source is the [Netflix release date announcement](https://about.netflix.com/es_es/news/fading-grandeur-premieres-on-netflix-on-23-october-starring-antonio-de-la-torre-and-alexandra-jimenez).\n\n## Cast and roles\n\nNetflix’s announcement confirms the roles of the two leads. For the other main cast members, it names the actors but not their roles. “Role not stated” in the table below does not mean their participation is uncertain.\n\n| Actor | Role confirmed in the announcement | Character description |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Antonio de la Torre | Don Leandro | A marquis in financial trouble |\n| Alexandra Jiménez | Sofía Carrington | A wealthy businesswoman interested in buying the mansion |\n| Enric Benavent | Role not stated | Details not stated |\n| Fernando Andina | Role not stated | Details not stated |\n| Teresa Rabal | Role not stated | Details not stated |\n| Mercedes Sampietro | Role not stated | Details not stated |\n| Celia de Molina | Role not stated | Details not stated |\n\nThis table lists the main cast members named in the announcement. It is not a complete set of credits or a record of which episodes each actor appears in. It should also be distinguished from the cast listing on the title page.\n\n## Spoiler-free plot\n\nThe story begins with the proposed sale of an aging family mansion in Madrid. Don Leandro wants to sell it to escape financial trouble. Negotiations begin when Sofía Carrington expresses interest in buying it.\n\nDon Leandro is described as someone determined to keep up appearances. The mansion deal gives each of them a chance to judge the other. This pre-release guide leaves out the outcome of the deal and the characters’ hidden circumstances.\n\n## Creative team and what to watch for\n\nThe two co-creators also direct and write the series. Cuidado con el perro is the production company. Alicia Yubero is also an executive producer.\n\n| Participant | Role listed in the official announcement |\n| --- | --- |\n| Álvaro Fernández-Armero | Co-creator, director, writer, executive producer |\n| Juan Cavestany | Co-creator, director, writer, executive producer |\n| Alicia Yubero | Executive producer |\n| Cuidado con el perro | Production company |\n\nThe two creators previously worked together on Vergüenza and Sentimos las molestias. This is the production company’s first Netflix series. The following points are interpretations based on the announced premise.\n\n- Appearances and finances: The gap between the marquis’s social standing and his financial reality sets up the comedy.\n- The mansion’s significance: The house for sale is also a place that preserves the family’s outward image.\n- The deal and the characters’ relationship: Beyond the terms of the sale, viewers can watch how each judges the other.\n\n## Trailer and how to watch the series\n\nThe trailer is available on the Netflix title page. The series is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. The trailer’s availability should not be confused with the availability of the episodes.\n\n| Category | Officially confirmed information | Where to check |\n| --- | --- | --- |\n| Trailer | Season 1 trailer listed | Netflix title page |\n| Episodes | Scheduled for worldwide release on October 23, 2026 | Netflix |\n| Price | No title-specific pricing in the release date announcement | Netflix pricing information for your region |\n\nThe [Netflix title page](https://www.netflix.com/es/title/81702550) also provides a synopsis and cast information. Pricing shown on the Spanish page should not be assumed to apply in other countries. The release date announcement does not list supported languages. Korean-language availability for this series must be checked on the playback screen.\n\nThe Netflix Help Center explains the factors that affect language options. These include region and profile language settings. The title and viewing device may also affect them. The source is the [Netflix help page on subtitle and audio languages](https://help.netflix.com/ko/node/101798).\n\n| Information to check | What the release date announcement tells us |\n| --- | --- |\n| Release date | October 23, 2026 |\n| Playback start time in Korea | Not stated in the announcement |\n| Korean subtitles and dubbing | Not stated in the announcement |\n| Episode runtimes | Not stated in the announcement |\n\nTo check language availability:\n\n1. The Netflix title page classifies it as a comedy series.\n\n### Have all the supporting characters’ roles been announced?\n\nThe release date announcement names the main supporting actors but does not give their roles. Their roles or episode appearances cannot be inferred from the actors’ names alone.\n\n### Will all episodes be released on the same day?\n\nThe announcement gives the release date and total episode count. It does not explicitly state whether all episodes will be released at once. Check the Netflix title page for the specific episode release schedule.\n\n### Do I need to know what happens in the trailer before watching?\n\nThe basic premise is that the marquis and the businesswoman negotiate the sale of the mansion.
