Ghost Stories & Folk Tales, traditional tales retold with their originals and origins
Ghost stories, legends and folk tales retold in new words. They come from public-domain originals such as Joseon yadam collections and Lafcadio Hearn's Kwaidan, or from anonymous oral traditions - never from modern authors or community posts.
Each tale comes with the name of its original and where it comes from, the versions that differ from place to place, and the taboos and beliefs inside it. The tales are meant to chill, never to shock with gore, and a tale that has been passed down is never presented as a true event.
