2027 Bank Calendars: When and How to Get One
Confirm distribution dates for 2027 bank calendars in your bank's app and with the branch you plan to visit. Distinguish past event schedules from pickup requirements, and prepare for first-come, first-served applications and on-site distribution.
Check your bank's official app for announcements about 2027 calendar events.
Ask the branch you plan to visit about distribution dates and whether calendars are limited to existing customers.
Check whether applications are first-come, first-served or entered into a drawing.
Check the announcement for required information and what to bring for pickup.
Check your application result or the branch's stock, then collect your calendar as instructed.
For 2027 bank calendars, check distribution dates in the bank’s app and with the branch you plan to visit. Late November is when past events took place. It is not a common distribution date for this year. Check each branch’s requirements for receiving a calendar, too.
The figures for past events in this article are based on official announcements from November 2025 and news reports from December.
When can you get a 2027 bank calendar?
The exact dates for receiving 2027 calendars depend on each bank’s event announcements. Distribution dates could not be confirmed in the public materials checked on October 30, 2026. Be careful not to copy past dates as this year’s schedule.
Events for 2026 calendars began in late fall 2025. NH NongHyup Bank announced an app giveaway on November 25, 2025. At the time, desk calendars were available to the first 5,000 people. NH NongHyup Bank press release
Category | Confirmed past example | What it means for getting a 2027 calendar
NH NongHyup Bank app event | Announced on November 25, 2025, offering 2026 calendars | Check this year’s event announcement and application opening time separately
iM Bank branches | Delivered to branches in mid-November 2025, distributed to customers in December | Distinguish the branch delivery date from the customer distribution date
Some bank branches in Jung-gu, Seoul | Notices that calendars had run out were confirmed on December 5, 2025 | Do not assume stock will last through the end of the year
The date calendars arrive at a branch is not necessarily the date customers can receive them. Daegu Ilbo distinguished between delivery to iM Bank branches and distribution to customers. Ask the branch when to visit. Daegu Ilbo, December 16, 2025 edition
Why people start looking in late November
Late November was when past app events led into year-end distribution. Some branches ran out of stock in early December. News1 confirmed notices that calendars had run out at some branches in Jung-gu, Seoul, on December 5, 2025. News1 report, December 7, 2025
Reduced production has also been reported as a reason calendars have become harder to get. Economist cited the use of mobile calendars and efforts to reduce paper use. This does not mean every bank cut production by the same percentage. Economist report, December 15, 2024
In fact, iM Bank has stated that it was not reducing quantities. Daegu Ilbo reported that 400,000 copies were allocated for distribution in 2025. It is therefore difficult to treat individual banks’ circumstances as a nationwide trend. Daegu Ilbo report
· When an app event is announced, check the actual start date and time.
· For branch distribution, prepare according to the guidance from the branch you plan to visit.
· Consider waiting before opening only if on-site, first-come, first-served distribution has been confirmed.
· There is no common rule that you must wait until late November.
Comparing ways to get a calendar and their requirements
What you need to prepare depends on how the bank distributes its calendars. Distinguish between events you apply for in an app and those where you collect a calendar at a branch. You should also ask the branch you plan to visit whether distribution is limited to existing customers.
Distribution method | Requirements to check | What to prepare
In-person branch distribution | Distribution date, remaining stock, restrictions for existing customers | Any verification the branch requires
First-come, first-served app applications | Start time, eligible applicants, quantities by type | App login and application information
Prize draw entries through apps or social media | Entry period, participation requirements, how winners are announced | Meet the requirements and check the results
Distribution to selected groups, such as preferred customers | Customer eligibility criteria and collection instructions | Check whether you qualify
Past reports confirm cases where existing customers received calendars first. However, simply having an account does not guarantee you a calendar. Starting with the branch you mainly use makes it easier to check which requirements apply to you. Economist report
NH NongHyup Bank’s 2025 event involved applying through the app and receiving the calendar by delivery. Participants chose their preferred calendar from three designs. Check the new announcement to see whether the same method will be used for 2027.
The following wording appeared in the press release titled “NH NongHyup Bank Holds ‘2026 Calendar Giveaway Event’ on NH All One Bank.”

What steps should you take to get a bank calendar?
After checking the announcement, prepare according to the distribution method. Before visiting a branch, it is best to ask about the distribution date. For app events, first check whether they are first-come, first-served or prize draws.
· Look for a 2027 calendar event in your bank’s official app. Also check whether the event is from a previous year.
· Ask the branch you plan to visit about the distribution date and any restrictions for existing customers. Ask whether it has the desk or wall calendar you want.
· Check whether it is a first-come, first-served application or a prize draw entry. For first-come, first-served events, check the start time; for prize draws, check the entry period.
· Check the information and items required by the announcement. If calendars will be delivered, check your delivery address.
· Check your app application result or the branch’s stock. Receive your calendar through the delivery or branch collection method specified.
You can also ask the local agricultural and livestock cooperatives, Saemaul Geumgo, or Shinhyup where you bank whether they distribute calendars. However, do not assume another financial institution’s event requirements apply. Start by asking each branch whether calendars are being produced.
Common mistakes when reading bank calendar information
A common mistake is treating past examples as confirmed requirements for this year. When looking at dates and quantities in particular, check the year as well. An experience at one branch does not establish the distribution rules at another.
Common interpretation | What to distinguish
Last year’s event was on November 25, so this year’s will be on the same date | The past event date and the application date for 2027 calendars
One branch ran out, so distribution has ended nationwide | An individual branch’s stock and the bank’s overall event status
I completed the app entry, so I will receive a calendar | Completing an entry and being confirmed as a winner or recipient
Calendars have arrived at the branch, so I can get one right away | The branch delivery date and the customer distribution date
The amount in a resale listing is the actual transaction price | The seller’s asking price and the final sale price
The News1 report includes user accounts saying events closed in about 5 minutes and 11 minutes. These are quotations of users’ descriptions. They should be distinguished from official closing statistics announced by banks. News1 report
Beliefs about financial luck and the origins of calendar gifts
The idea that bank calendars bring money is a folk belief. The materials checked contain no evidence proving that they increase wealth. The tradition of giving calendars as gifts can be verified separately.
Haseon dongnyeok is the custom of giving fans in summer and calendars in winter. The National Folk Museum of Korea explains the sharing of New Year calendars at the winter solstice. It also presents records of officials distributing calendars to relatives and acquaintances. National Folk Museum of Korea, “The 24 Solar Terms: Winter Solstice”
Modern bank calendars also offer designs to enjoy. The following are examples of 2026 calendars featured by News1. Keep them separate from 2027 designs to avoid confusion. News1 report
Bank | Designs featured in 2026 calendars
KB Kookmin Bank | Scenes from classic literature depicted with Star Friends characters
Hana Bank | Photographs of works by Nam June Paik
Woori Bank | Works by artists with developmental disabilities and photographs of IU
Money-related dates to record on your calendar
Start by recording your own financial schedule on the calendar you receive. Credit card payment dates and deposit maturity dates must be checked for each account. Be careful not to copy someone else’s dates.
Item to record | Where to check the date | What to note alongside it
Credit card payment date | Card issuer’s app or billing statement | Payment account and billed amount
Deposit and installment savings maturity dates | Bank app or account opening details | What happens after maturity
Automatic transfer dates | Bank app or billing organization’s guidance | Transfer amount and withdrawal account
Year-end tax settlement document submission date | Employer’s guidance | Documents you need
Tax filing and payment dates | National Tax Service or relevant authority’s guidance | Whether you are required to file
Do not rely on a printed calendar alone to determine your personal financial deadlines. Your contract terms and the relevant institution’s guidance are what count. If a date changes, update your calendar notes as well.
