· The direction of the view varies with the position of the offshore launch site and the viewing area.

Resident-priority and general tickets
Resident-priority and general sales have different eligibility requirements. Resident-priority sales have ended. Some remaining seats have been converted to general tickets. Official ticket information
Category | Eligibility | Sales method and status
Resident-priority | Residence in the relevant city both on the application date and when receiving the ticket | Lottery sale ended
General viewing areas | No residency restrictions | First-come, first-served sales
Remaining resident-priority seats converted to general sale | No residency restrictions | Sold for 5,000 yen more than the applicable priority price
Resident-priority eligibility includes Chuo City, Minato City, and Koto City (江東区). The eligible place of residence varies by viewing area. People who have already bought resident-priority tickets cannot also buy the converted remaining seats.
Resident-priority tickets listed at 0 yen in the price table still carry separate fees. They should therefore not be treated as entirely free admission. Check the official ticket seller for current seat availability.
No tickets at the event versus the advance sales deadline
The notice that no tickets will be sold at the event is distinct from the advance sales deadline. The official site explicitly says tickets will not be sold at the event. The general ticket sales table lists a deadline of 10:00 on October 24. The actual deadline varies by payment and collection method. Ticket sales schedule
Notice | What it means when making plans
No tickets sold at the event | Do not plan to arrive without a ticket and buy one there
General sales run until 10:00 on October 24 | This is the posted sales period, not a guarantee that seats will remain
Deadlines vary by payment and collection method | Check the purchase cutoff for your chosen method separately
The official FAQ directs buyers to the Ticket Pia (チケットぴあ) website. Check the sales page to see whether tickets can still be bought on the morning of the event. Completing a purchase and collecting a paper ticket are also separate steps. Official FAQ
Paper tickets and entry routes
You must show a paper ticket to enter. A purchase record or winning notification email is not an acceptable substitute. You cannot enter if you forget or lose your paper ticket. Event-day viewing guide
· Collect your paper ticket using the method you selected when buying it.
· Check the viewing area and gate printed on the ticket.
· Follow the route shown on the official access map.
· Show your ticket at the designated gate.
Viewing areas open at 15:30. Re-entry is not permitted after admission. There is no parking for visitors’ cars or bicycles at the event site.
Anyone arriving later than their companions still needs their own paper ticket. The fact that the purchaser has entered does not grant anyone else admission. Anyone arriving separately must receive their ticket before entering. Entry FAQ
Viewing from sidewalks and traffic restrictions
You cannot stop on sidewalks or similar places to watch the fireworks. The organizers state:
歩道等で立ち止まっての観覧はできません。 Tokyo Bay Grand Fireworks Festival official website viewing guide
This means you cannot stop on sidewalks or similar places to watch. A sidewalk that remains open for passage is not necessarily an approved viewing location. This rule applies alongside the ticket requirement for all viewing areas. Organizers’ viewing guide

Frequently asked questions
Can I watch from a park or sidewalk without a ticket?
All official viewing areas require tickets. Stopping on sidewalks or similar places to watch is also prohibited. A park’s name alone does not mean it is a free viewing area.
Can I enter by showing only my purchase email?
A purchase email alone will not get you in. You must bring a paper ticket. A purchase record or winning notification email cannot replace it.
Do children need tickets?
The official FAQ makes an exception for children watching from a guardian’s lap. It allows one preschool child under age 6 per guardian. In assigned-zone seating, they must watch from within the designated space. Children’s viewing conditions
Do traffic restrictions end when the event ends?
Not all restrictions end at 19:00. Pedestrian restrictions on Harumi Bridge and other routes continue until around 20:10. Some expressway exits are scheduled to reopen around 21:00.
Will the event take place the next day if it rains?
If it is canceled because of severe weather, it will not be postponed to the next day. Check the official announcement on the day to find out whether it will take place. Refund terms also differ between cancellation before the launch and a stoppage after it begins.
Can I watch online from Korea?
J:COM has announced a YouTube live stream. However, no notice was found guaranteeing playback from Korea. Check the official playback page to see whether viewing is available from your location.
