2026 KBO Remaining Games Schedule and How to Watch
The KBO regular season is scheduled through October 12, 2026, under the second round of scheduling for remaining games. Details for the 21 games from October 6 to 12 include matchups, broadcasts, the number of games per team, and rescheduling rules for rainouts.
On September 30, 2026, KBO scheduled 11 games that had remained unscheduled after rain cancellations, placing them on dates through October 12.
The schedule checked on October 5, 2026, lists 21 regular-season games in total from October 6 to 12.
The October 10, 2026 (South Korea), LG-Lotte game at Sajik was moved from 17:00 to 14:00, as announced on October 2.
Games canceled due to rain are first assigned to announced reserve dates. If no reserve date is available, they are scheduled as doubleheaders or for a later date, depending on whether the same teams are already scheduled to play.
Depending on the circumstances, some postponed games may be played during the postseason as regular-season games.
The 2026 KBO remaining game schedule runs through October 12. From October 6 to 12, 21 games are scheduled at nine ballparks, including Jamsil. Start times and broadcast channels for each game are available on the KBO schedule.
The figures are based on the announcement issued on September 30, 2026, and the schedule checked on October 5.
What changed in the remaining game schedule
The second round of scheduling assigned dates to 11 games that had not been rescheduled after rainouts. The 105 games in the August announcement were the number being scheduled at that time. They should not be read as the number of games remaining in October.
Category | Reference date | Number of games | Last scheduled date
First remaining game announcement | August 25, 2026 | 45 unscheduled games and 60 games to be rescheduled, 105 in total | October 7, 2026
Second remaining game announcement | September 30, 2026 | 11 games left unscheduled after rainouts | October 12, 2026

Matchups and times were cross-checked against the KBO game schedule and results. Channels were checked against the October 5-11 TV broadcast schedule. The final day's channels come from the October 12 TV broadcast schedule.
October 10 game time at Sajik
The LG-Lotte game at Sajik was changed to a 14:00 start. KBO announced on October 2 that it changed the time to accommodate the away team on its travel day. The games in Gwangju and Daejeon are listed at 17:00 on the schedule checked.
Grouping all Saturday games under one start time would therefore be incorrect. The change appears in the KBO notice on the game start time change.
Remaining games and opponents by team
KIA and Lotte each have six games scheduled for October 6-12. The figures below were calculated by recounting the daily schedule for each team. Reserve-date matchups were not included.
Team | Games | Home | Away | Games by opponent
KIA | 6 games | 4 games | 2 games | Lotte 2 games; Samsung, NC, SSG and LG 1 game each
Lotte | 6 games | 4 games | 2 games | Doosan, KIA and LG 2 games each
LG | 5 games | 2 games | 3 games | Lotte 2 games; NC, Doosan and KIA 1 game each
Samsung | 5 games | 2 games | 3 games | KT 3 games; KIA and SSG 1 game each
NC | 4 games | 1 game | 3 games | LG, SSG, KIA and Hanwha 1 game each
SSG | 4 games | 2 games | 2 games | Hanwha, NC, Samsung and KIA 1 game each
KT | 4 games | 1 game | 3 games | Samsung 3 games; Kiwoom 1 game
Doosan | 3 games | 1 game | 2 games | Lotte 2 games; LG 1 game
Hanwha | 3 games | 2 games | 1 game | SSG, Kiwoom and NC 1 game each
Kiwoom | 2 games | 2 games | 0 games | KT and Hanwha 1 game each
The team totals add up to 42 games counted by team. Because two teams take part in each game, there are 21 actual games. This calculation helps identify double-counting in team-by-team totals.
Why including reserve dates in the game count causes errors
Matchups in parentheses in the attached schedule are separate from the actual scheduled games. The parentheses mark reserve dates to which canceled games can be moved. A matchup appearing in several slots does not mean that many games have been added.
The reserve matchups for October 8 in the September 30 attachment are as follows.
Reserve ballpark | Reserve matchups, away-home
Jamsil | NC-Doosan, NC-LG, Doosan-LG
Munhak | LG-SSG, NC-SSG
Suwon | Samsung-KT
Daejeon | Kiwoom-Hanwha, SSG-Hanwha
Sajik | Doosan-Lotte, KIA-Lotte
A game remains one game even if several channels appear in the broadcast schedule. For example, three channels are listed for KT-Samsung on October 11 (South Korea). Counting that as three games would make the team-by-team remaining game totals incorrect.
Rules for scheduling rainouts and doubleheaders
Games canceled because of rain are moved to designated reserve dates first. In a doubleheader, the same two teams play two games in one day. If there is no reserve date, the next consideration is whether the same teams are scheduled to play again later.
If a game is canceled because of rain or other reasons, it will first be scheduled on a reserve date in the announced schedule.
The quoted document is KBO’s “Second Remaining Regular Season Game Schedule Confirmed.”
· If an announced reserve date is available, schedule the game on that date first.
· If there is no reserve date and the same teams are scheduled to play the next day, schedule a doubleheader.
· If the next day’s matchup is different, consider the second day of a later matchup between the same teams.
· Schedule later any game that cannot be placed that way.
The August 25 notice also set doubleheader start times. Game 2 will not start earlier if Game 1 ends early. If Game 1 ends late, a gap between games will be maintained.
Category | Weekdays | Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays
Doubleheader Game 1 | 15:00 | 14:00
Standard start time for doubleheader Game 2 | 18:30 | 17:00
If Game 1 ends late | If it ends at or after 17:50, Game 2 starts at least 40 minutes later | If it ends at or after 16:20, Game 2 starts at least 40 minutes later
Each game in a doubleheader is limited to nine innings. The same limit applies even if only one of the two games is played. The notice’s limit of at most one doubleheader per team applies to September 29-October 5.
That limit should not be applied unchanged from October 6 onward. The detailed rules are in the KBO August 25 announcement.
What to watch
The remaining matchups and travel routes are points to watch in the schedule. These are differences shown in the schedule. The schedule alone cannot predict a particular team’s wins or standings.
· KT and Samsung meet in Suwon on October 7 (South Korea). They meet again in Daegu on October 11-12.
· Lotte plays LG at Sajik on October 9-10. It then travels to Gwangju and Jamsil.
· KIA plays in Gwangju on October 10-12. Its opponents are SSG, Lotte and LG, in that order.
· Kiwoom has two games scheduled at Gocheok during this period. The date of each team’s last scheduled game varies.
Comparing 2026 KBO broadcasts and attending games
For TV viewing, check the channel for each game. For attending in person, check the home team’s ticket seller. Broadcast channels can change by date even at the same ballpark. Broadcast schedules may change at the broadcasters’ discretion.
Method | Official information to check | How to check costs
TV viewing | KBO’s TV listing for each game and the broadcaster’s schedule for that day | Whether your TV service includes the channel
Attending in person | Game and seat information from the home team’s designated ticket seller | The sale price for that game and seat
The abbreviations in the KBO broadcast schedule refer to these channels.
Schedule abbreviation | Channel name
SPO-T | SPOTV
SPO-2T | SPOTV2
KN-T | KBS N SPORTS
MS-T | MBC SPORTS PLUS
SS-T | SBS SPORTS
Ticket sellers for attending games are linked by team in the KBO ticket guide. LG, Hanwha, Samsung, KT and KIA are directed to Ticketlink. Doosan and Kiwoom have links to NOL Ticket. SSG, Lotte and NC are listed with their own team ticket sellers.
This schedule does not list ticket prices for individual games. Prices and sale start times must be checked on the relevant home team’s booking page. A TV channel listing does not mean online viewing rights are included.
Regular season and postseason distinction
The remaining games scheduled through October 12 are regular-season games. The postseason opening date cannot be calculated from that date alone. The September 30 notice set out exceptional conditions for playing postponed games.
Situation | Treatment under the notice
Postponed games between teams that do not advance to the postseason | May be played on travel days or during the postseason
Games involving an advancing team, but with a matchup unrelated to the series in question | May be played on travel days or during the postseason
The final regular-season game of a Wild Card team | At least one travel day is planned before the Wild Card game
A game played during the postseason period can therefore still be a regular-season game. The type of game, rather than its date, determines the distinction. Check the regular-season and postseason options on the schedule as well.
