How to Book On-Site Repair
If an LG Electronics product needs an on-site inspection, use the official booking page. The request page restricts use by children under 14. No separate common booking deadline has been announced for the period around Hangeul Day.
· Open on-site service booking under Customer Support on the LG Electronics website.
· Enter the model name and serial number, or select “Book by Product Category.”
· Enter the symptoms and any installation information requested on the page.
· Enter your name, mobile phone number, and address, and confirm the required consents.
· Choose an available date and time, then complete the booking.
Your preferred time may change depending on service manager assignment. Check the confirmed schedule provided after submitting your request. If you have at least two products, you can ask the customer service center at 1544-7777 about submitting a request. You can check the required fields on the on-site service booking page.
LG Electronics Service Center Closures in October
Around Hangeul Day in 2026, distinguish between visiting a service center and submitting a request online. On October 10, service centers and phone customer service have different schedules. The table below covers only the period around Hangeul Day.
Date | Service centers | What to check
October 6 to 8, 2026 | Open | Check available booking times separately
Friday, October 9, 2026 | Closed for Hangeul Day | Online bookings and requests accepted
Saturday, October 10, 2026 | Closed | Phone customer service operates in the morning
Sunday, October 11, 2026 | Holiday | Distinguish between online requests and available visit dates
The following is from LG Electronics’ “October Service Center and Customer Service Center Closure Notice.”
Even during the closure period, service bookings and requests can be submitted through the “Customer Support” menu.
This does not guarantee a visit on a closure day. LG Electronics has advised that it may be difficult to get through by phone on October 12. Check the schedule by date in the September 23, 2026 notice.
LG Electronics On-Site Service Booking Costs
The basic on-site inspection fee for paid service in October is 28,000 won. It is 33,000 won from 18:00 on weekdays and on weekends and public holidays. Repair and parts costs may be added to this amount.
Cost item | What applies
Basic on-site inspection fee during the regular period | Months 1 to 5 and 9 to 12, 28,000 won
Evening and holiday on-site inspection fee during the regular period | From 18:00 on weekdays, and on weekends and public holidays, 33,000 won
Repair costs | Labor charges based on the difficulty and duration of the repair
Parts costs | Price of parts needed for replacement
The paid on-site inspection fee applies even if no repair is performed. Customer negligence and similar cases are subject to charges even within the warranty period. Check the LG Electronics rates and warranty guide for detailed criteria.
Cost Example: Daytime Versus Evening
The difference between the basic and evening on-site inspection fees in October is 5,000 won. This comparison assumes a paid inspection of a product whose warranty has expired. You can choose between the two time slots only if both are available for booking.
Option | On-site inspection fee | Additional costs
Basic weekday hours in October | 28,000 won | Any necessary repair and parts costs
From 18:00 on a weekday in October | 33,000 won | Any necessary repair and parts costs
Difference in on-site inspection fees | 33,000 won - 28,000 won = 5,000 won | Excludes differences based on the repair work
The total is the on-site inspection fee plus the actual repair and parts costs. You cannot calculate the total before it is known whether parts need replacing. Check the amount for each item before deciding on a repair.
Comparison by Need: On-Site Service, Service Center Visits, and Appliance Cleaning
Choose the request menu that matches the work you need. If you plan to bring a product to a center yourself, check which products it handles first. If you want cleaning, check the scope of work under the separate appliance cleaning menu.
Service needed | Menu to use | What to check first
Inspection where the product is located | On-site service booking | Address, symptoms, and available visit dates and times
Inspection after bringing in the product | Service center visit booking and center search | Products handled, location, and operating hours
Professional cleaning | LG Best Care appliance cleaning | Eligible products, scope of cleaning, and fees
Operating hours and request cutoff times may vary by center. Check the individual details for specific locations, including Gangseo Service Center. You can look up locations and operating information using Find a Service Center.
You can submit a request at a center without a visit booking. First, however, check which products the center handles and when it accepts requests. You can check booking availability on the service center visit booking page.
Do not use the on-site repair inspection fee table to estimate appliance cleaning costs. Check the conditions for cleaning work separately. See the appliance cleaning guide for eligible products and the work included.
Check and Change a Booking
Check a submitted booking under Booking Inquiry/Changes in Customer Support. You can look it up by verifying your name and mobile phone number. You can also enter your name and request number.
· Open Booking Inquiry/Changes under Customer Support.
· Look up your booking using mobile phone verification or your request number.
· Check the booking details to see what you can change.
If the verification text does not arrive, check whether messages from 1544-7777 are blocked. You can view service history for up to 3 years. The lookup period for nonmembers is 1 year. The lookup fields are on the booking inquiry and changes page.
Common Mistakes: Confusing Request Dates, Visit Dates, and Fee Rules
Do not determine the visit date or fee solely from the fact that you submitted a request on a holiday. The closure notice describes the service center schedule. The booking page shows available visit dates and times for your product and address.
Easy mistake to make | What to check instead
Submitting a request on a holiday means a same-day visit is available | Available booking times and the confirmed schedule
Phone support on October 10 means service centers are also open | Distinguish between morning phone support and service center closures
The on-site inspection fee is the full repair cost | Whether repair and parts costs will be added
No open booking slots at a center means requests cannot be submitted | Each center’s walk-in request hours and products handled
Do not estimate evening or holiday fees based only on when you submitted the request. Check the fee shown for your selected service date and time. If the schedule changes, check the applicable fee again.
